The material has enough thickness to actually absorb an impact instead of just being a cosmetic strip. Fitment is tight against the bumper contour with no gaps or lifting at the edges, even after months of loading and unloading. It's taken a few scuffs from bike racks and grocery bags that would've otherwise gone straight into the paint. The black trim on this car fades embarrassingly fast if you don't stay on top of it, and this is the only restorer I've used that doesn't just mask the problem for a week.
