The glass roof is great until July, and this is the first sunshade I've tried that actually blocks meaningful heat instead of just looking like it does. This slides right onto the factory armrest in about thirty seconds — no tools, no adhesive, nothing to mess up. My elbow rests there on every drive, and this is what's taking the wear now instead of the actual armrest, so I don't have to worry about that divot forming in the leather over time. It looks close enough to OEM that most people wouldn't even clock it as an add-on unless you pointed it out. For what it costs, it's an easy way to protect something you'd otherwise end up replacing down the line.

Headrest Pillows (2PK)

These aren't something you need, but they're a genuinely nice comfort upgrade if you've got kids who fall asleep on road trips — which, in my experience, is most road trips. They come with extra filling included, so you can adjust the firmness instead of being stuck with whatever ships in the bag. Installation is just strapping them over the headrests, nothing complicated. Not a must-have, but a nice one.

Cup Holder Inserts

These just drop into the factory cup holders — no trimming, no adhesive. The silicone insert keeps drinks from sliding around on turns, and it's sized to fit cups as big as 31 ounces, which covers pretty much anything from a gas station or drive-through. If something spills, they lift right back out so you can rinse them off instead of scrubbing the actual cup holder. Not something you need, but a nice, cheap upgrade once you've used one.

Front Windshield Sun Shade

This actually covers most of the windshield instead of leaving the edges exposed like some of the cheaper shades do, and it's from a brand that's been around long enough to trust. Putting it up and taking it down takes seconds, and it holds its shape instead of sagging in the middle after a few uses. I've been running it through the summer here in central Texas, and it's made a real difference in how hot the cabin is when I get back in the car. Simple product, but it does exactly what it's supposed to.

Universal Tire Repair Kit

The Model Y doesn't come with a spare, so this is one of those things you buy hoping you never actually need. It's compact enough to keep in the frunk without being in the way, and it's got what you need for a basic plug repair on the side of the road. One honest note: it's only useful if you actually know how to use it, so it's worth watching a video or two ahead of time instead of figuring it out for the first time on the shoulder of a highway. Cheap insurance for a problem Tesla doesn't give you a backup plan for.

Air Vent Cover

Cheap, easy install, and practical for keeping debris out of the vents, especially with kids in the car. I've found a few Froot Loops sitting on top of the cover instead of inside the vent, so I feel like I've already won with this cheap, easy add-on.

Under Screen Storage

Easy to install, no rattling, and a real increase in storage space — an easy win. Another no-brainer I'm glad I installed.

Cup Holder Expander

I needed this badly — my Yeti was too big for the factory cup holder and kept rolling around the passenger seat, creating dumb distractions while driving. Cheap and practical, just how I like it.

1TB SSD for Sentry/Dash Recording

This one's not cheap, no doubt about it, but Sentry and dashcam recording write a lot of data, and I needed something that could handle it without issue. After reading a lot of reviews and forum threads, this was the one most people pointed to, so I waited for a sale and grabbed it. So far, so good — and with 1TB of storage, I'm not worried about footage getting overwritten before I need to pull it.
